pheww.

seeing that im home the whole day, decided to surprise everyone. and my, did i surprise myself in the process. i actually cooked. like ... literally cooked ' lemak cili padi ' without a single help from any living organism. not to mention, for the entire family too. woooh. yay me!

and the reviews i've gotten so far are .. how should i put it? satisfying? hahah. really. tasha said it tasted nice. even my annoying irritating piece of brother agreed. ( for once. ) and yeahh. mama said the dish could do with a little bit more salt but tasted good enough still. so on the whole, it was practically a successful mission. :)

now now, its not like i've never cooked before. as a matter of fact, i do love to cook actually. just that i'd rather make pastas, pizzas and such compared to these typical malay dishes. for eg ; asam pedas, lemak cili padi, curry etc etc ...
i find them a lot more err ... unexciting to prepare. hurr.

guess western & italian food just appeal more to me. maybe its cause i love to eat them? haha. i should think so. =)
